Missouri Connections for Health partners with the Missouri Foundation for Health and a national network of organizations to help provide education about insurance options offered through the Affordable Care Act (ACA). MCH also provides assistance with other insurance-related issues such as plan comparison, insurance appeals, and general health literacy. our Marketplace assisters (Navigators) can also assist with Medicaid (MO HealthNet) concerns. The scope of this work focuses primarily on Boone County in direct association with Aging Best.

Rural Unhoused Helpline

In May 2021, Missouri Connections for Health (MCH) began a housing-related pilot program. Under this program, MCH operates a helpline that provides Coordinated Entry housing assessments on behalf of other direct housing service provider agencies. These agencies are provided a toll-free helpline number that they share with clients who are potentially eligible for housing assistance who may not have an in-person assessor available to them in their area.
