Community Education: Health Insurance Options for Students and Young Adults

August 26 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

Many young adults think they don’t need or can’t get health insurance. This is not true! In fact, young adults often have more options than other groups. In this free class, we’ll cover the health insurance options available to young adults and students, how to enroll, the importance of having coverage and where to go for help. We’ll also cover when you can stay on your parents’ insurance, if available, and what to do when you no longer qualify.

This course is open to individuals 17 and older. Parents, guardians, caregivers and community leaders who work with young adults are also encouraged to attend.

This free class is conducted by Missouri Connections for Health. We do not sell or promote any insurance company or its products.

Registration begins August 1.

Space is limited, registration is recommended.  To register or to request accommodations, please visit our form at: https://forms.gle/cuXG1QgFuPuJecN68
